A second spaceframe lamp

This is the second spaceframe lamp I’ve designed and built. The spaceframe was made from brass rod, 3 millimeter through-hole leds, and 3d printed materials. The base and the arm were made from granite, stainless steel tubing, and 3d printed connecting pieces.

The arm is now made from stainless steel tube, and contains 3d printed ball joints that are surprisingly strong for 3d printed components.

The second lamp solved 2 issues I’ve had with the first lamp, the leds emit a warmer color, making the lamp more suitable for a home environment. Furthermore, the brass rod is stiffer and more elastic, making the frame seem more straight. Nonetheless, upon close inspection, it is apparent that the lamp is hand-made
